The Team

I am a Kennel Club Instructor Course (KCAI) Scheme Member and currently help at the local puppy and dog training classes in Porlock.

I took up agility five years ago with Barnaby and loved it. I train with Kim Loaring on a regular basis as well as attending agility camps and workshops with Bonny Quick and Lucie Corrie (Hinchley). I completed my Agility Instructor Training Course with Gemma Fisher in 2016 and am currently studying for my Think Dog! Certificate.

Barnaby is my first agility dog, I started training for fun but soon became hooked as Barnaby loved training and competing in agility and we had great fun together. With Sarah Gamble's help I trained Barnaby up to KC and UKA competition level. Unfortunately due to unrelated health issues Barnaby had to retire before his competition career had a chance to take off.

Barnaby has a lovely temperament and is keen to learn so he still helps out. He regularly comes along to the local puppy classes to meet and socialise with the puppies and helps demonstrate foundation agility skills.

I knew I was hooked on agility when I got Bryher, my youngest Labrador, as I picked her from a working litter with agility in mind and she hasn't let me down! Due to her working background she is fast and athletic but also keen to learn new techniques.

We have been training for the last year with Kim and she is now old enough and at a level for us to start competing at KC and UKA competitions in 2017.
